Young War

Manchester based singer/songwriter Young War has released his latest track ‘Darker Love‘ taken from his forthcoming second EP ‘Trinity’. Heavily influenced by R&B artists such as D’Angelo, Prince, and early Usher, “It’s about wanting someone you know is bad for you but you’re willing to have it fall apart for the sake of having them to yourself for even one night.”

Produced by Swiss producer Pablo Nouvelle (who also plays keys on the tracks as well as featuring on the remix of Young War’s earlier track Rose Gold), this warm R&B/soul vibe drawing comparisons to the likes of Chet Faker will have you hooked from the start!

The ‘Trinity’ EP shows the development of an artist with a collection of punchy, well-written pop songs that also incorporate an honesty and sincerity in its approach. You’ll have to look out for the upcoming release, we’re definitely looking forward to it!

unnamedHaving supported Mt. Wolf on tour recently, Young War will be playing live in both Manchester & London in late June/early July in support of the new EP. To keep up-to-date, follow him on the links below.
